Halo 5 Will Not Have Split-screen co-op

For those of you who played long into the night, eliminating wave after wave of Covenant enemies, with a friend sat alongside you, there's some bad news: Halo 5 will not support split-screen co-op. 

The news comes from this month's Game Informer, where Halo 5 is the cover story. It's unclear as of now as to why this feature was cut from Halo 5, especially due to its popularity, but it's certain to disappoint many long-standing fans of the series.

With E3 just days away, 343i will hopefully shed some light on the thought process behind this decision.
