Halo 2: Anniversary Releases on PC This Month
Halo 2: Anniversary is coming to PC this month, following the releases of Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for the platform in recent months.
This remake of Halo 2 originally released on Xbox One in 2014 as part of The Master Chief Collection bundle, and is also a part of the PC’s staggered Master Chief Collection release. Acting as a direct sequel to the first game, Halo 2 jumps between the perspectives of Master Chief and his battle with the alien race known as the Covenant on Earth, and the Covenant’s own Arbiter as he seeks the truth behind the goals of the Covenant's upper hierarchy.
Much like Combat Evolved Anniversary, this title features newly enhanced visuals, with the option to jump between the updated graphics and the original 2004 graphics seamlessly. Six of the original game’s multiplayer maps have also been updated with the new visuals, with the rest of the batch being included in their original state. The multiplayer also supports online play.
Halo 2: Anniversary releases on PC on 12th May.
