Hacknet to Get Expanded Later this Year

Hacknet the well received and successful terminal-based hacking game from last year is getting an expansion. Developer Team Fractal Alligator revealed Hacknet Labyrinths will add a 3-4 hour chapter to the main game's story arc, also adding secrets into other areas of the game. 

Labyrinths will see the player recruited into a small team of hackers by the mysterious Kaguya and tasked to take on a series of perilous data heists in a quest for powerful new tools and programs. It will feature a whole new network to explore along with new ways to interact with the system using new abilities gained from the new tools you acquire; such as the Memory Analyzer.

Hacknet Labyrinths is set to include more of the gameplay from the original with some twists and an all new soundtrack featuring Remi and synth superstar OGRE. The expansion is due to release before the end of 2016 on PC for Windows. Mac and Linux for $4.99.
