Habroxia 2 is Keeping the PS Vita Alive in 2021

Lillymo Games has announced that its retro shoot 'em up sequel Habroxia 2 will launch on the PS Vita next month. That's right! When the game launches on the 3rd February—in addition to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Switch—you'll be able to play it on Sony's tragically underappreciated handheld.

When one space pilot doesn't return home from a free space scouting mission, his daughter, the ace starpilot Sabrina, sets out to find him. Need more story than that? Don't be silly; of course you don't. Habroxia 2 looks set to be a loving retro throwback to space shooters of decades past, complete with all the simplicity that the genre entails. Where it's light in plot, though, it's rich in content, packed with dozens of available upgrades, a non-linear campaign, countless bosses and a rocking chiptune soundtrack. 

Habroxia 2 launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, Switch and—yes—PS Vita on the 3rd February.
