H1Z1 Hits Early Access

SoE has announced that on the 15th of January 2015 they are opening the gates to the undead hordes in H1Z1. Joining the shuffle footed hordes of zombies and heavily armed survivors called "Bubba" the game hits Steam Early Access.

As is usual with Early Access, this game will be horribly broken to start with, but then you're signing up to help fix that. Sony say it is part of "your chance to experience and make a difference in H1Z1 as it evolves throughout the development process."

The Early Access page continues to state that:

"The H1Z1 development team will continue to create new features and may make significant changes based on the needs of the game. Those who choose to purchase Early Access should anticipate an evolving feature set, bugs, incomplete content, missing features, and potentially game breaking issues."

The game will be available in two editions by the name of  Standard, which will include three event tickets, one launch crate key, and two crates, Or Premium, which will include 24 event tickets, three airdrop tickets, four launch crate keys, six crates, and an aviator hat crafting recipe.
