Gunfire Reborn Sells One Million Copies

Duoyi (Hong Kong) Interactive Entertainment Limited has announced that, as of the 28th November 2020, the roguelite co-op first-person shooter Gunfire Reborn has sold one million copies worldwide. 

Obviously, with this announcement coming well into December, it's safe to assume that the surprise Early Access hit now claims even higher sales figures, especially considering the recognition it received at the 2020 Chinese Game Developers Association (CGDA) Awards on the 9th December. However, the precise numbers aren't publicly known and likely won't be re-established by Duoyi until the game reaches another sales milestone.

Tasking players, as one of three unique playable characters, with teaming up and taking on a series of hand-crafted levels with a random array of weapons, abilities, scrolls and power-ups, Gunfire Reborn is a fast-paced roguelite that merges satisfying first-person combat with an addicting 'one-more-go' gameplay rhythm.

Alongside this news, Duoyi has also unveiled a roadmap for the game's continued development through to the back end of 2021. Check it out below.
