Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- Arcade Opening Unveiled

Arc System Works have revealed the opening video for the arcade version of Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- which has also been subtitled in English. The video shows some plot elements but ultimately boils down to a rock out college showing the current roster in action.

Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- in a first for the series will utilise 3D cell shaded animation and camera angles in place of the traditional 2D sprites. Series creator Daisuke Ishiwatari is back in the directors chair and is also scoring the games soundtrack.

While there is still no official release date, Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- is set for release on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 this year and will be launched in Japanese arcades sometime in the Spring.
