GRID Autosport Announcement Trailer
Promising a return to realism, which they slightly departed from in GRID 2, GRID Autosport promises to continue following user feedback and make it the best yet.
Their main promise is to make the handling more like - but not exactly - a simulator. This includes differing the way each vehicle handles compared to one another. There will be over 100 tracks across 22 different locations - the video only shows Hockenheim, Sepang, San Francisco, Jarama and Yas Marina.
The single player career mode will be open, meaning you will only have to compete in what you want to. If you only want to do Endurance races, then have at it. You will also be able to join teams and get sponsorships. This mode also includes a return of racing with a teammate - which will attack other cars and defend your position. You can also get told information by your team engineer. You will also be able to tune your cars, including options such as front and rear suspension, downforce, differential, gears, ride height and brake bias.
Multiplayer options haven't been fully unveiled, but you will be able to join a race team with your friends and compete in weekly challenges.
GRID Autosport is released June 27th on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
