Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is Getting a Console Re-Release

It appears that we'll be getting a new re-release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The original Xbox version has disappeared from the Xbox Marketplace to make way for a new release this time with achievements.

Officially confirmed by Rockstar games the 10th Anniversary edition will be available digitally on the Xbox 360 on October 26th. The new edition will include 720p support, improved draw distance and of course achievements; to which were leaked a little while ago.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas originally released on October 26th 2004 which make this year the 10th Anniversary. A new HD release would be the best way to celebrate the 10th year of one of, if not the best Grand Theft Auto game ever made. 

For GTA: Online players Rockstar games have also announced in celebration of the anniversary by having a special weekend which will include special clothing, discounts and double RP as well as double cash.
