Gran Turismo 6's Online Services Being Turned Off

Developer Polyphony Digital has announced that the online services for Gran Turismo 6  will be coming to an end this year. 

Writing on the official website it has been revealed that 28th March, 2018 will be the date that the online services will end. At 12:00 UTC players will no longer be access features such as Community, Open Lobby, Quick Match and Seasonal Events. The offline portions of the title will still be playable. 

Meanwhile the DLC for the game will be usable offline but players will need to download it before 31st January, 2018. After this date players will no longer be able to download the DLC content. The companion app, GT Track Path Editor will also end service on 28th March, 2018.

Take note, any in-game credits should be used before the online service ends as afterwards they will be useless. 

Gran Turismo 6 is available now for PlayStation 3.
