Google Announce a Console
Being co-created by Asus, mobile and computer device manufacturer, Google have announced the Nexus Player which looks set to be ChromeCast for gamers.

It will be available to pre-order from today, but will go on sale 3rd November. It will cost $99.99 and the controller will be sold separately and cost $39.99, though it will be compatible with Wii U and PlayStation 4 controllers.
There is multiplayer and it syncs across all of your Android devices using your Google Play account.
It also supports all of the usual Android apps, so you can watch Netflix, YouTube, Ted or rent movies from Play if you wish. As it comes with a voice-controlled remote, you can search your media library quickly with only a few words.
