GOG.com Now has Games for Linux - Plus a Sale
A while ago GOG made a promise to bring 100 Linux games out for the autumn. So instead they brought the first fifty games out right now. And stuck half of them on up-to 75% off sale!
So right now you can go and get Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition, Flatout, SpaceChem, Surgeon Simulator 2013 and many others - and if you already own the PC version you can now download the Linux version! Some of these are even making their Linux debut thanks to GOG.
The full list of Linux-supported games can be found here, and the sale can be found here.
In a nut shell, every game that comes out on GOG.com in the future with native Linux support, they will try to make it available on day one. They also have a team of dedicated Linux staff to make older titles compatible going forwards.
How will Linux support work on GOG? They explain it themselves:
For both native Linux versions, as well as special builds prepared by our team, GOG.com will provide distro-independent tar.gz archives and support convenient DEB installers for the two most popular Linux distributions: Ubuntu and Mint, in their current and future LTS editions. Helpful and responsive customer support has always been an important part of the GOG.com gaming experience. We wouldn't have it any other way when it comes to Linux, and starting today our helpdesk offers support for our official Linux releases on Ubuntu and Mint systems.
