God of War Ragnarök Releases with Exclusive, PC-first Features Revealed Alongside the Launch Trailer

God of War Ragnarök was officially released on PC on the 19th of September. However, it's come to Mixed reviews mostly due to performance issues and the inclusion of a mandatory PlayStation Network Account for a single-player game.

For the release, Santa Monica Studio, Jetpack Interactive, and PlayStation Publishing LLC had a treat up their sleeves: a host of all-new features for PC! These new options are highly sought-after settings that players have wanted, including an oft-mocked part of the game that will finally be fixed: the hint system!

That's right — the first PC feature revealed was none other than the Reduced Puzzle Hints Option! No longer do you have to hear Atreus tell you five times how to complete the puzzle the moment Kratos puts a mild toe into the relevant area.

The second option is an accessibility one — Cinematic Audio Description, giving players the opportunity to hear descriptions of the visual events that occur during the cinematics! This will also provide additional contextual information for players who struggle with low vision, giving them the opportunity to have a more detailed experience overall!

God of War Ragnarök is out now on PC.
