Goat Simulator to Become a Real Game
Following the release of a hugely successful Alpha gameplay video last week, Coffee Stain studios has announced that Goat Simulator is to be made into a full game and will be released on Steam in the near future. The initial video went viral following release and now has over two million views on YouTube. The developers clearly weren’t expecting such a positive reaction: “OKAY INTERNET YOU WIN, IT LOOKS LIKE GOAT SIMULATOR IS OUR NEXT IP”, reads the video description.
The aim of the game is to cause as much havoc as possible with your little goat. Since the alpha was released, the devs have also included a ‘lick’ ability which essentially sticks items to the goat’s tongue. On the whole, it’s looking like a weird mix of Tony Hawks Pro Skater and PAIN. No release date has been revealed as of yet and it’s unclear as to whether the game will launch under the Early Access scheme. You can view the Goat Simulator announcement trailer above.
