Goat Simulator 3 Launches on 8th Gen Consoles This Month; See the Trailer Here!

Coffee Stain Publishing and Coffee Stain North have been excited to reveal that Goat Simulator 3 will be launching on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! Naturally, it's been announced in the usual eccentric fashion, as our goat overlords arrive in a boardroom to celebrate their arrival.

The base game and all free content updates, as well as the Multiverse of Nonsense DLC, will both be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Best of all, cross-ownership will be a feature among both console generations. So, if you own the base game, the DLC, or the 2-in-1 bungle on either PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, you'll still be able to access your save files on both the previous generations.

You'll be able to play local two-player splitscreen and online multiplayer with those on the same platform you're using. But if you're unfamiliar with Goat Simulator 3 and the rest of the series, then here's what you should expect:

There are over 350 customisation options for your precious goat, including different gears, and different abilities. You can also partake in mini-games with your friends across the island of San Angora, with the likes of Prop Hunt, Floor is Lava, and Hoof Ball. But, that's not all because it's a sandbox! You make the rules, so you can complete quests, cause chaos, or discover random secrets and collectibles. It's all up to you, or you can do all of the above! We aren't here to judge; only the goats can do that.

You can also expect additional content updates that will come free with the game. These include Easter, Summer, and Holiday updates, but you can also expect more to come.

So, have you been feeling left out of the pastures? Then don't worry if you have 8th generation consoles, because Goat Simulator is rapidly approaching, with a release date set for the 24th of October.
