Get Your Tetris On with Tetris Forever Launch Trailer
One of the oldest games in the world is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Originally released on the 6th of June 1984, the first Tetris title dropped and took the world by storm, and only a few years later, the Game Boy edition wouldrelease, which continues to be the 15th most-sold game despite its original release being 35 years ago, with few being able to surpass it's massive achievement.
Digital Eclipse and The Tetris Company have now worked together to bring the latest release — Tetris Forever. This homage to the old-school king of gaming gives players the opportunity to experience the story with unique interactive timelines to learn the history of the franchise with over 90 minutes of all-new interviews. On the gameplay side, for those who are interested in clearing lines, you'll be able to 15 distinct Tetris titles incorporated into this one.
Tetris fans are going to want to check out the Interactive Timelines that lets them explore the history through five interactive timelines. Combined with the playable games, you'll also get video featurettes and digital artifacts to teach you everything about this unforgettable experience. Also added is The True Story of Tetris, with over 90 minutes of all-new interviews as you get to learn unique things about the game from perspectives not before explored.
And once you're done learning about all the things past, you can play one of the 15 distinct Tetris titles that are incorporated into this one. Of course, the original Tetris from Electronika 60, 1984, was carefully re-coded from Alexey Pajitnov's original release. But aside from that and 13 other version of Tetris from the 80s and 90s, you'll also get the brand-new Tetris Time Warp!
