Get Ready to Soar the Skies in Aloft with Official Early Access Release Date Trailer

Announced during the Summer Game Fest period in the PC Gaming Show, a brand-new survival title was showcased for players looking to soar through the skies.

In Aloft, you will set to the skies as you recover flying islands from their corrupted state. Picking your favourite to turn into your ship, you'll adorn it with sails, rudder, helm, and everything it'll need to turn it into your personal skyship to reach new islands and restore them from the corruption!

The title has received high praise over the demo periods that it has explored, becoming one of the most-played demos throughout Steam Next Fest of June. It has earned the title 300,000 wishlists with 25,867 followers, setting it up for a successful Early Access launch! This launch will come with the capability to enjoy the title either alone or with seven other friends, giving you the opportunity to fly through the islands and recover them with your peers!

According to the Steam page, which has now been updated with the Early Access box, players can expect Aloft to be in this launch state for a year, with a lot more coming that will differ the two states. The current launch will include the quintessential Aloft experience, from single-player and multiplayer lobbies with the capability to make private servers, resource collecting, crafting, building, skyship sailing, gliding, farming, and cooking, three biomes, various enemies, hundreds of buildings and decoration pieces, and farming options for animals and plants. The full version will have more of everything already available, alongside Astrolabe Interactive Inc. and Funcom, using the information gathered from player behaviour to upgrade their game into what the community likes.

If you're interested in starting your journey, then you'll have to wait a little while. Aloftis expected to release on Steam Early Access on the 15th of January 2025, meaning players will have to wait a few more months before the game comes out.
