Get Legendary Pokémon through Pokémon Go's Field Research Tasks

Pokémon Go has, in the past, required players to raid in groups in order to get a legendary Pokémon, but those days are no more!

The game now has a new task system where you, the trainer, will conduct field research for Professor Willow. For instance: visit 5 PokéStops, catch 10 Pokémon, and transfer 5 Pokémon. After completing these tasks, you’ll gain 500 xp for each as well as additional rewards: Poké Balls, incubators, and lure modules.

What’s the best part of this new feature? Over seven days of completing these tasks, you gain stamps. After seven stamps are collected, you unlock a Research Breakthrough. This may contain stardust, mystery items, or a Pokémon. Not just any Pokémon though! Legendary’s are reportedly included in the Research Breakthrough boxes, specifically the Moltres.

So go back out there and help Professor Willow to gain legendary pocket monsters in Pokémon Go! Remember, though, be alert and aware of your surroundings, you never know what might be lurking around.
