Get Introduced to Alterborn with New Dev Diary

After an official announcement trailer wsa given to us in March earlier this year, independent studio Iron Lung have released a short dev diary for their upcoming title Alterborn, highlighting it’s features and what fans can expect from the title. Advertising itself as a blend of multiple genres such as soulslike, looter shooter and roguelite, with a main attraction here being the element of gunplay - a gameplay element scarcely seen in soulslikes.

Alterborn has players roaming a vast, bizarre, and dangerous wasteland as an ‘Alterborn’, one of the fated few who avoided certain death at the hands of antediluvian forces. Having been changed by the apocalyptic event, you take up upon yourself to uncover the truth behind the curse that plagues you.

Alterborn is still in very early stages of development, with an expected release date currently aimed at Q3 2023 for Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S.
