Get A Glimpse of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Main Villain
New information regarding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been minimal since its showings during EA and Microsoft’s E3 conferences, but now we have another new trailer for the game, giving fans a larger dose of story and a taste of the overall scale.
The trailer opens with the protagonist Cal being saved from a Sith (who appears to be the game’s villain) by a small group of Rebels, with the Cal and the Rebels seemingly coming to a mutual partnership agreement soon after meeting to work together to fight against the Empire.
From there, the trailer focus on some flashy looking combat and what appears to be some light puzzle solving and exploration, not too far removed from what one might see in the Uncharted franchise.
What’s arguably most notable is the brief shot of the galaxy map from the Rebel ship. The trailer shows four planets, and it appears that players can pick and choose which planet they wish to explore at any given time. Given earlier reports about the game having a structure similar to a metroidvania, it seems likely that these planets will have a lot of hidden secrets and upgrades for completionists to dig their teeth into.
The trailer ends with the clashing of Cal’s lightsaber against the lightsaber of the Sith who appeared earlier in the trailer. It’s preceded by a few lines of dialogue which appear to come from this female Sith, commenting on (what’s presumed to be) Cal’s inability to save his rebel friends from the Empire.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release on 15th November for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
