Genopanic Release Date Trailer and Information
Mobirate has announced the release date for its Space Expedition follow-up Genopanic, sending players on a wild cosmic adventure on PC via Steam this coming 23rd of October 2023. Similar to the prequel, Genopanic features a colourful, atmospheric pixel art style and it has a narrative connection, as you’ll “uncover the fates of the characters from Space Expedition, and find out more about what happened to the planet SPEСTR,” said Anton Belov, Co-founder of Mobirate.
As featured in the trailer above, Genopanic’s platforming is the classic combination of running, jumping, and dashing. Exploring the space station, you’ll have your pick of various sci-fi weapons, from Plasma Cutters to Grav-Guns; whichever you choose, you’ll put them to use against angry green mutants, crawling crab-walkers, and more. Of course, no one wants to be alone in the galaxy, so LAIK — a friendly AI pup — and the mischievous cat-girl, VOLGA, will keep you company.
How your journey goes — and the ending — is up to you! Free exploration lets you experience the levels of the space station in any order, and your actions and decisions across Genopanic’s non-linear story will determine which of the four endings you get at the end of your playthrough.
Are you interested in playing Genopanic, but haven’t played Space Expedition yet? We have good news for you! Space Expedition is now free on PC via Steam, complete with Steam Achievements, improved controls, and PC optimisations. There's also a playable demo for Genopanic, so you can give it a try before it arrives this Fall!
