Gearbox Set to Open New Studio

Gearbox Software are extending their reach into the frigid depths of Canada. A job vacancy posting on their website shows details of their new studio, set to open in Quebec soon.

The Texas-based developer have brought us the phenominally successfl Borderlands and the modern classic Duke Nukem Forever so it's no surprise to see them expanding, especially with a number of large projects underway at the moment.

A new Duke Nukem game was announced earlier this year and new IP Battleborn is due on the 9th February. There's been rumblings of a new Borderlands game to come as well so 2016 may be a busy year for the outfit and their soon-to-be new staff will have a lot of work on day one.
