GDC 2018: The Independent Games Festival Awards

Established in 1998 by the UBM game Network, The Independent Games Festival awards are designed promote and encourage independent game developers. Award winners are given worldwide exposure and walk away with cash prizes.

The grand prize of $30,000 was awarded to Infinite Fall’s Night in the Woods for the Best Independent Game at the 20th annual awards ceremony. The adventure game focuses on exploration, story and character development. There are a variety of interesting characters to meet and interact with.
