GDC 2018: Apocalypse Cow coming to Xbox One and PC

Cinematic adventure platformer Apocalypse Cow had a strong showing at GDC 2018, with an almost complete game available on an Xbox One development kit. This comes with the announcement that the quirky game from developers Monsters is joining the ID@Xbox program when it launches later this year. The game follows protagonist Penny through a series of different game worlds to stop a glitch from destroying them all.

Apocalypse Cow has been in development for five years, though Monsters admit that the story has undergone several revisions causing the lengthy development time. There is no announced release date yet, or a final price, but Apocalypse Cow will be coming out on PC and Xbox One sometime later this year.
