gamescom 2024: Secret Level

TV shows about videogames are pretty hot property lately, but with so many wonderful games out there, how do TV execs choose which franchises to base their shows on? Well, Amazon has managed to sidestep that difficult decision with Secret Level. This animated, adult-targeted anthology series is set to delve into the universes of all of your favourite games. Sifu, Spelunky, Unreal Tournament, and PAC-MAN are among the games featured, with 15 different stories to be featured.

Coming from the makers of Love, Death, and Robots, the new show is due to arrive on Amazon Prime on the 10th of December, and during gamescom, we were treated to a trailer showing the diverse cast and games featured. Not only the above, but also Dungeons & Dragons, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, and Armored Core also feature. With just a minute and a half to run through everything, we only get a small glimpse of what’s to come, but with less than four months until it’s available to stream, it won’t be long until we can see more of Secret Level’s multi-game goodness.
