gamescom 2024: FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves

Many veteran fighting games have been through a renaissance of sorts, with both TEKKEN and Street Fighter having multiple successful releases. However, there are many once-beloved series that have not seen the light of day for decades. This is about to change for one such franchise, as Fatal Fury makes a howling return in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves.

The newest entry to this venerable series is setting off with a roster of 22 characters, 17 old faces and five new, with more to come as DLC and in the Season Pass. You can also customise your look with the colour and character editor to bring your own sense of style to the streets. Master the new Rev System and gain buffs when you hit certain health thresholds while also using the classic mechanics, such as Braking and Fenints. You can also take on a single-player campaign in the RPG mode, Episodes of South Town, where you level up your fighter and equip skills to fight your way to the top!

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves is set to release on the 24th of April 2025.
