gamescom 2021: Two New Classic Characters Announced for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl During Future Games Show
Two new characters were announced for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl during the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2021 on 26th August. The new characters, CatDog’s CatDog and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ April O’Neil, were announced in two separate trailers, both featuring gameplay.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, the first console entry in the formerly browser-based Nickelodeon Super Brawl series, is an upcoming crossover fighting game featuring various characters from Nickelodeon cartoons, including SpongeBob SquarePants’ SpongeBob, Rugrats’ Reptar, and Hey Arnold’s Helga Pataki. The game gained popularity after fans noticed it had similar gameplay to the Super Smash Bros series as well as a rollback netcode and wavedashing, two things that the most recent entry in the Super Smash Bros series, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, does not have.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 5th October this year.

Weird that Classic April is going to be a brawler in this game, and not a more recent version.
