gamescom 2021: Microsoft Flight Simulator

At the Xbox Showcase at gamescom 2021, Asobo Studio announced a new world update for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Featuring new locations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, you will soon be able to enjoy flying over famed landmarks such as Matterhorn, Stubaital, Frankfurt, and Neuschwanstein Castle. World Update VI will be available on 7th of September 2021. On that same day comes another update with a new aircraft add-on, the Junkers JU-52.

Coming later to Microsoft Flight Simulator are two more expansions. One is another new aircraft in conjunction with German aircraft company, Volocopter, bringing their exciting new air taxi, the VoloCity, to the game. The VoloCity also marks the title's first helicopter. The other is the game's first major expansion, partnering with the Reno Air Racing Association. That expansion will bring the world's fastest motorsport, the STIHL National Championship Air Race, to the game.
