gamescom 2021: Marvel Future Revolution launches

At gamescom 2021, Netmarble Corp. and Marvel Entertainment released a launch trailer for MARVEL Future Revolution, a free-to-play open-world action RPG that launched today for iOS and Android. Based on an original storyline of different worlds coming together and developed by Netmarble Monster, the sequel to previous collaboration, MARVEL Future Fight, promises high-stakes adventure and never-ending threats.

In addition to the gamescom 2021 trailer, Marvel will host an episode of its Marvel LIVE! livestream at 5:00 PM PT, which will present news and gameplay footage for the game. Another to-be-announced event is also coming soon.

At the start of MARVEL Future Revolution, several Earths have converged, forming the new Primary Earth, where you can join the new Super Hero team, Omega Flight, in order to defend not just this new Earth, but also the universe. At launch, eight classic Marvel heroes will be playable, including Star-Lord, Storm, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, Iron Man, and Spider-Man. Furthermore, each character comes with over 400 million costume combinations to choose from.

In addition to these fan-favourite heroes, Future Revolution also comes with several original Marvel landmarks and locales, such as New Stark City, Hydra Empire, Xandearth, Midgardia, and Sakaar. In these locations, players can fight against classic Marvel foes like Ultron, M.O.D.O.K., Thanos, and Yellowjacket in Epic Missions which follow the game's main storyline, Side Missions that unlock extra storylines, and several levels of multiplayer content. These include Raids, Special Operations, Blitz, and more.
