gamescom 2021: Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Dying Light 2 had the curtain pulled back on it’s gameplay and narrative during the Xbox Gamescom 2021 show. Ahead of its 7th December release, Techland showed off the game's new parkour animations, promising double that of the original game. In addition, they confirmed that Dying Light 2 would be set in a ‘modern dark age’, with a heavier focus on human to human combat. Players will be forced to pick a side, between two unique factions, although the trailer doesn’t touch on whether there will be more factions.

We also saw the grapple hook return, with a sneak peak of what appeared to be a hand glider. Given the heightened verticality of the game, all the tools provided will be required to get around the world of Dying Light 2 quickly and safely.
