gamescom 2021: CrossfireX Multiplayer Trailer

The third installment of the record-breaking CrossFire series, CrossfireX brings the tactical FPS to consoles for the first time.

Wanting to expand the narrative of the franchise and introduce it to a wider western audience, developers Smilegate Entertainment have partnered with Xbox Game Studios to create a deeper online experience, while entrusting Finnish studio Remedy Games to construct a singleplayer adventure. This trailer shown to us during Opening Night Live teases more features of the free-to-play multiplayer portion of the game, and we can expect to see more as we get closer to an official release date.

CrossfireX is set to launch for Xbox Series and Xbox One later in 2021.
