gamescom 2021: Bungie Reveal Destiny 2: The Witch Queen

Kickstarting gamescom 2021 was a showcase for the massively successful MMOFPS Destiny 2. We were joined on stage by Game Director Joe Blackburn and General Manager as they ran us through all the new content we can expect, starting with a trailer that unveiled the upcoming expansion, The Witch Queen. The expansion brings Savathûn, a frequent face in Destiny 2’s story, to the forefront as a primary antagonist, finally showing players what she’s fully capable of.

Released back in 2017, Destiny 2 has had a steady stream of ongoing content, and The Witch Queen will be the sixth expansion in Destiny 2’s impressive repertoire. A gameplay trailer, granting further details into what's on offer, was also shown. The Witch Queen expansion is set to launch on 22nd February 2022.
