Games With Gold February Freebies Revealed

Microsoft have confirmed the games that Gold subscribers will get getting free this month. Once again, it's a collection of large titles with a varied theme and once again, Xbox One owners get the best deal as backwards compatibility means they get four games.

360 owners get two huge games: Namely Sacred Citadel & Gears of War 2. The former is a medieval themed brawler with co-op combat and four characters to play as. The latter is, of course, one of the biggest selling games on the console with millions of copies sold and a huge dedicated fanbase. If you never got round to playing it first time round then Games with Gold gives you a second chance. 

Gamers playing on Microsoft's current-gen console get two more games in addition to the above. They will receive the Cyanide Studios Stealth classic Styx: Master of Shadows alongside Action-RPG-cum-Deck-Builder Hand of Fate. Both Hand of Fate and Sacred Citadel are available from the first of February, and the other two games will follow up on the 16th.
