Gameloft Shares More Information Regarding the Floating Islands Coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley's Free Sew Delightful Update
During the latest Disney Dreamlight Valley showcase sharing what we can expect from 2025 (including a few roadmaps for free and paid content), Gameloft touched on the upcoming Floating Islands. Though we heard very little about them at the time, the team has officially shared more information about this piece of land that'll become part of your Valley soon!
Releasing on the Sew Delightful free update, the Floating Islands will respond to the ever-growing decoration creep happening. Players who have been decorating since the beginning of the Early Access release nearly two years ago have officially run out of space, and with a recommended decoration limit (for hardware purposes) and space, this has become a prominent problem across the fanbase.
To get the Floating Islands, players will need to have completed the main story quest "What's Left Behind". Speaking with Merlin, players will be able to start "Islands in the Sky", wherein they will use the Wishing Well to travel to the first island themed after the Plaza. After this, the other islands will cost 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock.
Each area will have roughly a 130x130 space to decorate, making it a perfect location to bunch villagers together! Make a supervillain village, your dream paradise, Toon Town, or even decorate it to the ever-changing DreamSnap!
The Floating Islands will arrive in Sew Delightful free update on the 4th of December 2024.
