Game Dev Tycoon is a Steam game that starts you as a videogame developer in the 1980's, who has to build up a studio with successful game releases and happy fans. But thanks to the new support for modding, it can be much more.

Not all games are suitable for modding, but those that are can enroll in the Steam Workshop, to give fans the tools and ability to do what they want with the game.

In the case of Game Dev Tycoon, those mods are, among other things, for clearer financial books, more topics to research, adding competitors to the game and even adding some visual novel-specific game types.
