Future Games Show: Sid Meier's Civilization VII

The Civilization games have become known for not just their amazing depiction of world history, but also for the wonderful narrative that they add to things. With Game of Thrones Star Sean Bean in Civilization VI, Firaxis needed something wonderful to top that. So who better to voice the seventh wonder of the series than Bean’s co-star in that show, Gwendolyne Christie?

In the reveal trailer, she talks of the history of ordinary people shaping our world. Admiring a selection of glass-encased worlds, Christie points out how people built wonders, created communities, and aboveall; provided hope. Finishing up with the game’s tagline “build something you believe in”, Christie was replaced on screen with a card letting us know that we don’t have much longer to wait for the arrival of Civilization VII, as it will be coming to both PC and consoles on the 11th February 2025.
