Future Games Show: Greedfall II: The Dying World

Tonight at gamescom’s Future Games Show, we saw a new trailer for Greedfall II: The Dying World. This is one to watch out for, as you return to the world of Greedfall, set three years before the events of the first game.

As a native to Teer Fradee, you aim to become a spiritual leader of your people, but before you can complete your trial, you’re kidnapped by the warriors of Gacane. You disembark on the shores and discover a foreign world, where the politicians conspire against one another. However, you have your own plans to take down the man who imprisoned and kidnapped you.

Travel through Gacane, which is so distant from the nature you’re accustomed to in Teer Fradee. While you work against the enemies, you’ll also meet and make companions, and with them, you can learn about them and even romance them. 

So, make your own path through bargaining, stealth, or use your tracking skills to find new items. However, don’t worry, you can also fight your enemies too. Using tactical pause, you can plan a group strategy or work in real time. 

Change your combat style and choose the right skill tree; it’s up to you to find the right one for you. But that’s not all, you can adjust your allies’ skills as well. In this RPG, your choices matter as you write your own story.
