Future Game Show 2022: Kwalee Montage

The Future Game Show showcases the Kwalee montage, which features four titles we’ll discuss! Wildmender, Die by the Blade, Scathe, and Robobeat!

Wildmender takes place in a desolate land, in which you — and up to three other players — will be able to fix the world and decorate it. Turn the desert wasteland into lush and green environments by terraforming, explore to find seeds to bring about new life and meet ghosts of the past, plant and harvest crops, and survive the perils of the wasteland.

Wildmender is slowly growing into its release date, sometime next year for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Steam and Epic Games storefronts!

Die by the Blade (0:57 in the trailer)

Die by the Blade follows the teachings of Yamada Jirokichi: “Sword and mind must be united”, as you and your opponent will fight to the death in a quick-paced one-hit-kill playstyle. Choose a weapon from ancient Japanese armaments, master the skill of parrying, and learn the combos to ensure your survival; you cannot afford distractions, as any second could be your last.

Die by the Blade will be coming out sometime this year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam!

Scathe (1:14 in the trailer)

In Scathe, you play as Scathe, the Enforcer of the Legions of Hell, as he tries to navigate Hell’s labyrinth in order to prove his worth. Map your route and ensure you don’t get lost in the maze, as you will face deadly challenges at every turn of the corner. Fight in first-person bullet hell action and participate in free online crossplay co-op where you’ll be able to drop in and out of sessions at any given moment; just be wary because every other player shares your pool of life too…

Scathe is coming to PC via the Epic Games and Steam storefronts on the 31st of August, with the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S at a later date!

Robobeat (1:43 in the trailer)

Blast your way through a sprawling mansion in this rogue-lite rhythm shooter, where players must attune themselves to the beat of the music and match their firing rhythm to it if they want to maximise their damage. Brought to us by lone developer Simon Fredholm, RoboBeat will offer a plethora of ways to kill your enemies and navigate the environment when it launches for Windows in 2023.
