Frostpunk Sells 250,000 Copies In Less Than 3 Days

11Bit Studio's new game, Frostpunk, had received an extremely warm reception from fans, selling 250,000 copies in less than three days.

Frostpunk, is the newest game from the indie creators of This War of Mine, critically acclaimed as a rare example of a thoughtful and emotionally-driven war game, is an apocalyptic city-building sim with the added twist of needing to protect your citizenry from the ever-worsening cold climes. The game promises gads of difficult choices, like how to maintain a critically-vital infrastructure in the unforgiving and endless winter (something anyone who's lived in the Midwest United States knows is a lost cause), and how to possibly maintain morality and law in a brutally cold world.

Given the positive outpouring of support the game has received, 11 Bit has promised more support to come for the bleak and beautiful game, with both free updates and expansions planned.

Frostpunk is available on Steam and is showing little sign of buyers remorse with reviews averaging very positive with almost 5,000 tallied. Owners of 11 Bit's previous hit, This War of Mine, receive 10% off the asking price.
