Free Turn-based JRPG Sword of Convallaria Releases New Night Crimson Update and Announces Two New Characters

Sword of Convallaria team XD has announced the release of the second major update to their title, named Night Crimson. The latest addition to the game expands the Spiral of Destinies saga, giving players the opportunity to don a detective cap as they embark on a journey to solve a mystery with tactical elements!

Under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad's strategic leader, players will head out and partake in investigative gameplay. Adding detective elements to the story battles, players will experience a new side to the Waverun City's storyline with the new investigation addition added to the Night Crimson update.

However, the new detective gameplay isn't the only thing coming to Sword of Convallaria with the update. A new character type named SP Characters will be joining the fray, which are alternative forms of existing characters set during different periods of time. Though these SP Characters will have a different appearance and unique combat skills, there's also a reward for players who unlock both the SP version and the regular version of a character, as it'll significantly boost both versions' combat power by unlocking an exclusive SP skill.

XD has announced the release of two characters making their way to Sword of Convallaria with this latest update. SP Rawiyah will be released on the 3rd of January 2025, while Taair will be coming on the 17th of January 2025.

Alongside the release of the Night Crimson update came a series of in-game events that players will be able to complete to unlock valuables, including Secret Fates and legendary tickets. Complete these to get the rewards while you wait for the Waverun Tournament, which will begin on the 3rd of January 2025, which will allow players to exchange event points to unlock exclusive items and avatar frames!
