Free DLC Has Been Added To Cadence of Hyrule

The critically acclaimed Zelda inspired spin-off from the rhythm-action game Crypt of the NecroDancer, titled Cadence of Hyrule, released earlier this year, and now the game has received free additional content, courtesy of the game’s developer Brace Yourself Game’s.

The DLC is titled Octavo’s Ode, and focuses on the game’s titular villain Octavo, with players controlling him through his own story line. Nintendo revealed the accompanying announcement Tweet that player’s will be uncovering his “true intentions for taking over Hyrule” throughout the course of the story line.

A new Dungeon mode has also been added to the game alongside the new storyline, where players will be pitted against the game’s most challenging enemies. Both Octavio’s Ode and Dungeon mode will only be accessible to those who have finished the main story.

Cadence of Hyrule is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch via the eShop.
