Fractured Space Final Progression Wipe Date Confirmed

It's certainly been a busy year for Edge Case Games. Their space based MMS, Fractured Space has been in early access for over a year now, recently celebrating its first anniversary. The aim is to be launching the full version in early 2016 and to get ready for that, a new Tech Tree is being launched. In order to implement this, a wipe of progression will need to happen in order to reboot things back to a level playing field.

This wipe, announced a few weeks ago, will not be happening on or after 21st January. Whilst ranking and Platinum will not be reset, everything else will. However, the developers do want to recognise people have been working hard to hone their skills so three unique ship skins are up for grabs. There's a Bronze Pioneer skin for anyone who hits rank five before the reset and a Silver Sentinel skin for anyone at rank. If you're in the elite group of players who have reached rank 20 before the final wipe, you'll be rewarded with a gold Venturer skin.

Whilst the reset is planned for the 21st of January and won't happen any earlier, that date could potentially be pushed back. Players will be told as early as possible if this happens though. See the official Fractured Space website for full details.
