FortressCraft Evolved Leaves Early Access
ProjectorGames have reached their goal of getting FortressCraft Evolved! to market in a full form. After a long period in Early Access where the company crafted the game based on player feedback, the full version is available on Steam from today. You can pick it up on Windows, Mac and Linux with a limited time 20% discount
Adam Sawkins, FortressCraft Creator, was delighted with the release and issued a statement thanking fans for all their help:
“Early Access has been an ideal place for us to grow and get incredible amounts of in-depth feedback and support from the FortressCraft Community. We’ve spent the last 2 months polishing and touching up the game, focussing heavily on the new-player experience. It’s time to push our baby out into the wider world, and then to do continue to work on it, and do what we can to help it grow in the coming months and years. Thanks to everyone who has told me everything wrong with the game - your feedback has been invaluable. Good luck charging your Orbital Power Transmitters!”
The title mixes elements of RTS, Tower Defence and Crafting games in an environment that the creators say contains "the largest worlds ever seen in any computer game" There are two distinct modes, one that pits you against the environment and one that focuses purely on the crafting aspect. There's also a multiplayer mode if you're feeling sociable.
