Fortnite Update Schedule Revised, Events Delayed
Fortnite developer Epic Games have updated their release schedule for the game following the most recent patch.
In a forum post the developer mention that the upcoming patch version 2.5.0 has raised some internal concerns regarding stability. Because of this, the release of this update and the following ones has been delayed by around a week to allow the team more time to address the issues.
Below is the updated release timeline which also includes the Valentine's and "Spring it On" questline.
Patch 2.5.0 – February 14
- Valentine’s Event
- Special Valentine’s questline – A Love Story, told the Fortnite way.
- Valentine’s-themed Heroes
- Cupid Crossbow
- New reactive quest type
- Opt-In Difficulty increase for greater challenge and rewards
Patch 3.0.0 – February 21
- Spring it on Event
- Week 1 of the ‘Spring it On’ questline released
- New Event Store items
- Complete in-game music overhaul (Orchestra Edition)
Patch 3.1.0 – February 28
- Stamina Part 1 – Player Movement
- Quest Map Improvements
- Spring it on Event
- Week 2 of “Spring it On” questline released
- New Event Store items
- Inventory w/ Crafting in FE
Fortnite is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
