Fortnite: Battle Royale Hits 7 Million Players and Gets Update
Epic Games continue to push out the updates as following the recent announcement of the Horde Bash update for Fortnite a new update has been revealed for Fortnite: Battle Royale.
The new update to the free-to-play battle royale mode brings Duos to the game meaning you can team up with a buddy and try to survive together. Supply Drops are also making a stop and will now start appearing in games. They will of course create a hot zone for attention so will likely be the center of a lot of kills but if you can grab one you will be rewarded with some rare weapons and items. Lastly the update details some of the plans to change weapons and their accuracy to help make the game a more balanced and - as much as possible - a fair experience.
Epic Games released Fortnite: Battle Royale for free just over a week ago and within the first 24 hours they had a million players. Now the game has had over 7 million players thanks to an announcement made on the games Twitter account.
Thanks to over 7 million of you who have played Fortnite! We want to keep the Battle Bus flying, so Duos and Supply Drops are available NOW. pic.twitter.com/sRx767u4aG
