Former Diablo 3 Game Director Jay Wilson Leaves Blizzard After Almost 10 Years
Jay Wilson, former Diablo 3 Game Director at Blizzard Entertainment is leaving the company and the games industry as a whole. Jay has worked at Blizzard since 2007 and has touched many of their projects including World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Hearthstone and of course Diablo 3.
Sad to say after 10 of the best years of my life this will be my last week at Blizzard, and in the games industry.

Prior to joining Blizzard he worked at Relic Entertainment and was Lead Designer on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and was Senior Designer on Company of Heroes. His credits go way back to 1997 on the gothic first-person shooter Blood.
I'm leaving to pursue my original passion, writing. It's what I was doing when I fell into this job, and I've always wanted to return to it.

It will be sad to see him leave, but thrilled that he's followign his dreams.

Totally, he ended up taking a lot of flak for Diablo 3s problems which unfortunately seems to be all people remember but he's touched many strategy games I've loved over the years! :)
