Football Manager Classic Gets Midnight Release On Tablets
Football Manager Classic, the revered back-to-basics mode seen in Football Manager games is making its way to tablets tonight. The game will be released for newer Apple and Android tablets. If you're unsure of whether your tablet can handle it check out this handy tablet compatibility page.
The game will feature very few differences between the it and the PC version, including things like a 3D match engine, more nations and more options as well. The downside to these added features is that for a tablet game it is quite expensive, being priced at £14.99. Saying this, it is cheaper than the PC and Mac version and you will be getting an almost identical version of Football Manager Classic.
Miles Jacobson, Sports Interactive developer had this to say about the game and the price:
I'm just delighted there are finally tablet devices that are capable of it
It is a full product, as in, it is a full PC product, so we're going with a price of £14.99, which is obviously high for iOS but very cheap for PC and Mac...We've been debating this one quite a lot and looking at quite a lot of different models, but for the amount of playtime that people are going to get it's still fantastic value for money.
