Flockers Annoucement Trailer

Although Team 17 haven't created a brand new IP since Stunt GP in 2001, they have released a first look at their newest idea - Flockers.

The basic idea is - what if Team 17 created Lemmings.  Not the remake for the PSP (which they did develop), but the real thing.  It would look a little like this.

The aim of the game is to guide your flock to safety, using the world around them and giving them jobs whenever you need them to do something else. They describe it as

Flockers is a twisted blend of Lemmings’ inspired gameplay and Tim Burton style macabre, all topped off with a dose of that classic Worms humour!

Here's hoping they haven't spent all of this time making Worms sequels that they became complacent.

Flockers is due for release to Steam Early Access in Q2 - so any time from Tuesday onwards.
