Fish in All New Frontiers with the Latest Call of the Wild: The Angler's DLC Launch Trailer
Call of the Wild: The Angler has been out since 2022, where players can set out on an adventure to fish for many different species of fish, either alone or with friends. Throughout the two years since it's been released, it has received 12 total DLC, with new reserves, boat packs, cosmetics, and much more being added, and the newest addition — the Japan Fishing Reserve — has finally arrived!
Take up fishing... this time, in Japan! A land known for its fishing and prominent pescetarian diets, you'll head out to the Hokkaido region to fish in the Kamuibetsu National Park. In this new DLC, you have the opportunity to fish in the breathtaking scenery as you find 15 brand-new unique types of fish, including the Feral Koi and the Chum Salmon, among many others.
However, new fish types aren't everything that awaits you! A brand-new main story has been incorporated, where you'll be able to fish in massive amounts of locations (From autumnal lakes, forests, springs and rivers, and even a volcano) to take on all-new angler challenges! You can find hidden caches and collectibles while you embark on the beautiful landscape and accept missions (including photo quests!).
Best of all? You don't have to do it alone. Only one person needs to own the Japan Fishing Reserve DLC for all sorts of players to be able to join — from solo to up to 11 friends! There are 19 species to find, with 15 new ones, and the story of Kamuibetsu's history as you progress through the main storyline, with challenges aplenty to find!
