First Trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Narrated by Handsome Jack (who, did we mention, is apparently pretty handsome if he does say so himself), Gearbox and 2k Games have released the first teaser trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
Featuring some of the good-guy-turned-tyrant's poetry, the teaser gives players long panoramic shots of the moon Elpis, which is the game's backdrop, and a statue of Handsome Jack. Intended to have more content than Borderlands, but less than Borderlands 2, the newest game in the franchise introduces a whole new range of low-gravity combat and the deadly laser weapon class.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel documents Handsome Jack's descent from relative good guy to the sociopathic villain we see in Borderlands 2, and introduces four new character classes based on characters from previous games: the Gladiator Athena, Lawbringer Nisha, Wilhelm the Enforcer and Claptrap the Fragtrap (a repurposed inter-galactic assassin and general annoyance in previous games).
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is due this Fall for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and is currently up for pre-order.
